Simrod Hair Studio is currently taking applications for a part-time Salon Assistant position.

 

No industry experience is necessary. Our in-salon training program is structured, effective and with your passion, and commitment we will shape you into the best Salon Assistant you can be!

We are seeking an individual with the ability to work with a passionate team of career hairdressers with the following attributes:

• Good people skills.
• Good communicator.
• Interested in the fashion industry.
• Ability to multi task.


Role Requirements and Responsibilities:

• To work with a diverse clientele.
• To act as the first point of contact for clients and when dealing with other members of staff.

•To learn about salon retail lines and be able to prescribe products to clients when required.
• To perform cleaning duties when required.
•To shampoo clients when required.



The position is casual employment, working with people in a fast paced environment and having a soft yet well organised approach.
